Involuntary muscle

Involuntary muscle- The involuntary muscle is called untreated and smooth muscle too. This type of muscles is not under control. It is being controlled by involuntary nervous system.

By the examining of this type of muscle with the help of microscope, long spindle shaped fibers are found in it. Only one egg-shaped nucleus is found in its center. Stripes are not found in such type of muscle, due to which it is called untreated muscle. Such type of muscles does not remain attached with any type of bone, but connected with any internal organs. So, it is called visceral muscle. This type of muscle is found in hollow internal tube, glands’ tubes, trachea, oesophagus, urinary bladder, ureter, uterus, the membrane of fallopian, spleen, skin, eyes ball, etc. with the help of these muscles, functions like- going down foods in food pipe due to peristaltic movement, coming out of urine from bladder, moving the ovum from fallopian towards uterus, etc. take place by their selves.

Sphincter muscle- It is a type of involuntary muscle. It is made up of circular fibrous tissues. It is found on the mouth of any opening or on the external and internal mouth of any tube. When it contracts, the hole or the mouth of opening is closed tightly, for example- anal sphincter closes anus, cardiac sphincter present on the meeting place of stomach and oesophagus, etc.
